ClassicShaving.com is committed to providing the highest quality products available, shipping worldwide safely and quickly, providing personal attention to each and every order and customer, and striving to exceed all reasonable expectations.

Considering that men have been doing it for centuries, we believe that shaving is not "rocket science" and should not be presented as though it were. Doing so unnecessarily complicates the issue and only diverts attention from the actual facts. It often seems, considering some of the statements made and advertisements employed, as though diversion may be the very intent of some self-serving manufacturers and retailers. In our belief doing so is actually a deceptive and counter-productive anti-consumer policy.

Our philosophy is that keeping it simple is always best. No double-talk or vague promises, no high costs for dubious value. Just good honest products and techniques that are time-tested and have never truly been improved upon. Quality - Durability - Lasting Value,  the requisite elements of everything we do.

Our Customer Service Policy is simple and straightforward - Do The Right Thing.

Best Price Guarantee -

If you have seen a lower price on any product that we offer we will beat it! Simply email us a link to the product listing on any competitor's web site showing the identical item, its current price and "in stock" status, terms of service, etc. - Once you place your order with us we will refund to your credit card or Paypal account the price difference plus 10% of that difference. The best price guarantee can only be honored at the time of purchase.

Product Warranties -

Many of the products offered by us include specific warranties offered by their individual manufacturers. Warranty replacements and/or repairs are the responsibility of those manufacturers. Should you require warranty service, ClassicShaving.com will assist you in any way possible to obtain service from any manufacturer, however the terms of the applicable manufacturer's warranty must guide the process.

Merchandise Returns -

ClassicShaving.com will accept the return of any new product found to be defective upon arrival. We will also accept the return of any product that, upon arrival and examination, you are simply unsatisfied with. We are unable to accept the return of books, CDs, special-ordered or personalized items or products which have been used. 

 

All merchandise returns must be in as-received, unused condition, in the original package and any existing factory seals must be intact. Returned merchandise must be received no later than 30 days from date of purchase.

 

Due to the possibility of contamination and our inability to confirm that the product is "unused" we are unable to accept the return of soaps, creams, lotions or toiletries which do not have a secure tamper-proof package seal or those items whose seal has been removed. 

 

We will not accept the return of items purchased and returned because the scent is not the scent prefered.  Please email so that we may send a scent swatch if uncertain.

  

Merchandise returns must be pre-authorized by our Customer Service Department before return shipment. To obtain a Return Authorization Number email us providing all of the pertinent details including; Order Number, Order Date, and Reason for Return. Please also specify whether you would like an exchange or refund. You will receive a reply email including a Return Authorization Number. This RA number must be prominently displayed on the outside of the returned parcel. (See example below) All parcels not bearing an RA number will be refused and returned to the sender. Returned merchandise must be accompanied by the original packing slip. You may want to make a copy of it for your records. You may also want to insure your return, as we cannot accept or be responsible for damaged, lost, or misdirected parcels. Safe, timely arrival of your returned merchandise at our Shipping Center is your responsibility.

 

Refunds for returned merchandise will be limited to the purchase price of the item (this will not include shipping) and will be made in-kind and within 14 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. If you paid by credit card, a credit will be issued to the same account and will appear on your billing statement. If you paid by money order or check, our company check will be issued only after your check has cleared our account and will be mailed to the same address as the original shipment.

Shipping -

 

We ship worldwide, including military APO and FPO addresses and U.S. Post Office boxes. Shipments are made using either UPS, FedEx or U.S. Postal Service, depending on the destination address, parcel size or weight, and parcel contents. International shipments are processed in accordance with US law and USPS regulations. BE AWARE THAT ITEMS CONTAINING ALCOHOL MAY NOT BE SHIPPED VIA AIR BUT MUST BE SENT SURFACE DUE TO NEW FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATIONS.  We cannot be responsible for conflicting customs or postal laws and regulations imposed by the destination country. Transit times vary depending on destination and which shipper and method of shipment is used. Once the parcel has been dispatched an emailed shipping notice is sent to the address provided at the time of order. Parcel tracking information, if available for the particular service used, is provided at that time so that you can track the progress of your order.

 

Note: If you use a spam blocker program or other email filter your order confirmation and shipping notification may not get through to you. Providing us with a useable email address is your responsibility!

 

******Special arrangements for expedited or special shipment methods can generally be accommodated. Such special arrangements should be made by contacting our customer service department prior to submitting your order.

 

If you are unable to sign for a package and wish for the signature confirmation to be waived, you must submit an email waiving the signature and accepting delivery confirmation as receipt of package.  ClassicShaving will take no responsibility for lost packages whose signatures have been waived.

 

Shipping Charges -

 

Shipping charges are calculated individually for each order based on actual parcel weight and destination address. To determine shipping charges for your order simply add all desired items to your shopping cart and click on "Checkout." The first information that will be requested is the city, state and zip code of the shipping address. After entering this information and clicking to continue the actual shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed prior to your entering any payment information.

 

Order Pickup -

 

Customer order pickup at our North Palm Springs, CA shipping center can be accommodated by prior arrangement. Pickup orders must be submitted and processed at least 24 hours in advance via email, telephone; (760) 288-4178, or fax; (760) 288-4153. Orders may be picked up during normal office hours, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pacific Time, Mon - Fri, except holidays. This option will of course save you the cost of shipping, however all pickup orders are subject to CA Sales and Use Tax.

 

Payments -

 

We accept Visa or Mastercard (either credit or check cards) and American Express for orders placed online via our web site's secure shopping cart. Orders submitted online are shipped without delay. 

 

To pay using Paypal a link will be provided during the checkout process. Paypal orders are shipped once payment has been completed through Paypal and funds have been credited to our account. You will receive a Payment Confirmation email notice directly from Paypal.

 

To pay by Money Order, Cashier's Check or Personal Check you must submit your order via Email. A link for this purpose is provided during checkout. Email order shipments are delayed until payment is received and credited. Money Orders and Checks should be made out to: ClassicShaving.com

 

All prices, charges, and fees appearing in our website are expressed in US Dollars. 

 

Taxes/Duties -

 

US - Orders delivered within California are subject to California Sales Tax. Applicable taxes will be automatically added to such orders during the checkout process.

 

International - Any applicable Import Duties, Customs Fees, or Local Taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

Security -

 

Our website employs a secure server for transmitting all personal and sensitive information. All data entered through the website is fully encrypted prior to transmission. This costly state-of-the-art technology assures that you can transact business with us safely and without concern. Security certificates are available upon request.

Routine business is conducted via email. Be sure to provide a working email address when ordering or contacting us. Classicshaving.com respects your privacy. We never send unsolicited advertising (spam) nor do we share the contact or personal information provided to us by our customers with any third party for any reason.

ClassicShaving.com reserves the right to limit quantities purchased or to decline an order entirely if our acceptance or fulfillment would constitute a departure from the normal scope of our service or if, at our sole discretion, acceptance would impose upon us any unreasonable obligation, risk or liability. Any such order may be cancelled in whole or in part and refunded appropriately.
